I've had my phone up to as high as 150 degrees and it didn't shut down (only happened once when I was doing a lot of stuff at one time). I'm not sure what the magical temp is that the phone will reboot, but I've seen others post 160 degrees as being a temp you want to avoid getting to (not sure if there's any evidence to suggest this is true, or if they just pulled that figure out of the air).

Regarding keeping temps lower, maybe try a different kernel or slower speed.

I know. I was afraid my phone was going to burst into flames.

Pete's kernels are great. I'm using his 1100Mhz LV one right now. CorCor and Prime also get good reviews. The thing with kernels is that everyone gets different results from them. What works for one person might not for another. And the same goes with clock speeds. Many people have trouble going above 1000Mhz. I can use any kernel at 1100Mhz, but only a select few if I want 1200Mhz. And despite the favorable reviews from many users, ChevyNo1 kernels don't work at all on my phone - I get stuck in a boot loop. So try a few different kernals, leave it on your phone for a day and see how it responds.

Ya I tried corcor 1.1 lv on my phone and it didn't like it at all so I went back to p.e. 1.0 lv and it ran ok. My buddy told me he was runnin petes kernals and he loved it. So I put his 1.0 lv on last night and so far its great
