The problem may be Visual Task switcher. You don't need that either. You can long press on your home button and the last 6 apps you used will come up. Really you don't need some of that junk on Android. Voice search chouldn't be running either, but you can stop that in running services in setting:applications

thanks for your help. i just went in and uninstalled visual task switcher and tried to disable voice search but it still comes up. it probably isn't a big deal but of course it's bugging me.:icon_evil:
