    Hello and welcome to the forum!

    I think everyone would have different views of pro's/con's of the Android OS...I like the ability to customize, OS updates which leading to custom ROMs from dev's, OS is easy to understand / use / get used to - I don't really have any con's in my mind or at least none that come to mind...

    Cons. Fragmentation on differing devices sucks. Plain and simple.
    Can be a pain to setup and use if you're heavily into ios.
    Some apps are still not prime time ready vs their ios counterpart.
    I won't go into the pros because there are so many and it really depends on what you intend to do with your device. My favorite pro is my desktop is a dust magnet now since I'm using only Android vs when I had an iPad and tried to use it for above basic tasks.
