Hi there, I rooted my phone last night and all was going great until my niece decided it would be cool to take out my sdcard. Upon returning my sdcard in, my phone sits at the screen for clockwordmod recovery or just the load "HTC incredible" white screen.

I've tried remounting MIUI and stock 2.2, but nothing seems to work...

I think my phone may be bricked, can anyone help me?

PS. if this is not the correct thread I don't mind being redirected :(

Another thing is that it boots into recovery mode...

I have it connected to my PC, but I don't know what to do from here...

I tried applying stock 2.2 but it won't read it... possibly because I'm using clockworkmod recovery?

To do a complete wipe back to stock you would run the RUU. Follow the unrooting link in my signature- Doug's got a great how-to.

And for the record, it's not bricked until you can't get it to do anything such as display a charging light even with a black screen. What you have here is totally fixable, so we'll get you up and running.

Stupid question for you- have you tried pulling the battery out for a few mins to see if that resolves anything?

ya, I've tried it's to the point where I only can get into Hboot or clockworkmod recovery... I'm a noob at using that but I figured out how to do most things o.o; I'm downloading the RUU file now I'll see how that goes... So like if I claimed insurance on my "lost" phone will I still be able to use it?

1, that's fraud and we don't discuss that.

2, they kill any phone reported stolen or lost and give it a bad ESN.

3, you just admitted to doing it in an open forum where Verizon reps frequent.

4, we'll get you running again.
