    Ok.
    BuglessBeast 1.0
    Kernel: smokedglass v2

    Firmware says 2.1 b/c I flashed a JIT update.zip.

I tried installing the BBv.6 and am not able to.
It loads and then on the home screen, theres force closes constantly.
Do I need to wipe my data or whats the deal?

Yeah. You gotta wipe going from 2.0.1 to 2.1. Not a BAD idea to wipe changing from one dev's rom to another's.

Be sure sync is on and you don't lose contacts. Backup your apps though. Astro file manager can do that.

No fear! Haha! Really, it's not bad. Sprecovery makes it hard to mess up. I've bricked my phone once our twice and been caught in a boot-loop countless times. :-D But I was doing crazier things than installing roms...

    Haha thanks man.
So I need to put everything on my SD card, boot into recovery, and do a wipe, and then go to install from SD card, and then install the update?

Is it worth it to wipe and lose everything to upgrade? It seems like it so I can have the latest stuff, but I dont want to have to reinstalllll everything...

I dont understand the directions: this is quoted from him you must use the nandroid backup to install

I am backed up to where I need to be backed up.
And it said to install from SD card in the directions?
