    Ok ive got a HTC thunderbolt, and it says i need to have a lower firmware version to root... HOW DO I DOWNGRADE!? This site appears helpful, but I can't find any! And nothing im posting ever gets seen! help me please

    You will need to find the files for the firmware from someone here. To be honest I'm not sure if they've been released as I don't follow the thunderbolt. You can try XDA forums as well. That's a big developer site.

    Well that is different. Put a post into the rescue squad. Someone there will be able to run you thru the process. Good luck!
