    Is there any type of app to hold private materials? Like pictures tha would require a password? Also isthere a non root app to take pictures of your home screens? Thanks

    Shootme works on my girlfriend's Fascinate and she isn't rooted so that's worth a shot.

    PhotoVault lets you put photos private that require a password. Its a paid app.

    ShootMe can take pictures of your home screen. Its free in the market and doesn't require root.
