Yes I have. I have Windows 7 if that means anything to you.
Just that it's better than Vista.
Okay, power the phone down, press and hold up on the D-pad and don't let go, then power the phone back up to get into the bootloader. Now hook the phone to the PC and fire up RSD Lite. Tell me if it sees the phone.
It didn't see the phone.
Okay. This is where it gets sticky.
Are you running on an account on the PC that has administrator rights? Did the Show Device button do nothing when you clicked it? Does the phone charge when plugged into the PC via USB?
Yes, my account is the only administrator account. The Show Device button did nothing and it will charge via USB when connected to the PC.
Try uninstalling the drivers via the Motoconnect tool, then reinstalling them with the same tool.
I finally got it to work. But It doesn't have my ESN on there but it says its connected...
As long as it can see it. Okay, we're on to needing the SBF file, correct?
Point RSD Lite at the SBF and follow the instructions in the thread I linked you to. Good luck!
Okay, thanks! I will let you know how it goes but it may take a while lol...my computer is sayin its gonna take almost an hour to download the sbf file
Try this link, then.
If it goes faster you're good to go.
Okay, now I can't push the start button on the RSD lite after I select the SBF file
It's all gray? Rename the sbf. Try stock.sbf.
