Help with Vibrate for text

I have been using cyanogen and jrummy for about two weeks now and my phone will not vibrate for anything other than phone calls....no matter what I change it will not work......I did wipe and go back to stock and it worked just fine....but as soon as I downloaded either rom it went right back to no vibrate...any help would be greatly appreciated.

you have to change settings in settings to get vibrate for your keyboard.

I am not having issues with the keyboard vibrating but with the phone vibrating when emails and text messages come through while phone is set to vibrate

For anyone having the same issue, I was advised to download sound manager (free from market) and set the vibrate option.....not that I wanted another app but this did solve my problem....just thought I would pass this along.
