    Hello!

I just got a quick question guys. I rooted my phone back in July but now my lock button on my phone no longer works and I am thinkong about bringing to my local store.

    So I ask two questions:

Should I unroot my phone before I bring it to the Verizon Store?

And will they fix my phone or just give me a new one?

I had to use my insurance in July when I accidentally brought my phone in the water and the refurbished phone they gave me clearly has a probem with the lock button...

Thanks guys for your input! dancedroid

Sorry if this is in the wrong section

Who knows if they will be able to fix it or not, but I would suggest unrooting the device before bringing it in, this way they can't blame anything that is broken on you

Definitely unroot it because then you wont have voided your warranty if you have to send it in

Sent from my phone... which happens to be a Droid X
