a theory: SMUpdater to get back to stock, then to root and flash SPRecovery. IDK if it would work. It is a theory!!!!!!

*edit* ^^^the droidmod method above should work fine as well... but its not SM(aka sholes mod) any more now its DM(Droid Mod)search around you should find it fairly easily
download SPRecovery 0.99.3b and move it to the root of your sdcard than from adb shell do

    Code:
    # su
    # flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-0.99.3b.img
    # reboot recovery

No, it's the terminal link between your PC and your phone.

ive tried the dmupdater method but it reboots into clockwork and has an error so it wont flash

Edit* I select the stock rom in dmupdater then it downloads it and reboots into clockwork and says installation failed

ADB is essentially a more powerful terminal that is on your PC (so you can use a full keyboard). Terminal emulator on your phone will work fine in this case though.

^ that should work if you follow those instructions and replace adb shell with TE
