hey guys im in need of some help here. i have alot of apps and other things on my phone. and recently ive been getting the error message "sorry! process system is not responding" and i get the choice to wait or FC. usually happens on bootup. but sometimes during regular use.

also on bootup. the applications that are on the sd card icons' are not there, instead are replaced by a green droid symbol, and the phone runs like complete junk, then the launcher will freeze and force close. but after force closing the launcher, everything loads up and is fine. but then i will experience the above every once in awhile. this whole process can take about 3-5 minutes, and sometime will freeze completely and ill have to battery pull.

i looked online for solutions and found out that it can be fixed by partitioning a spot on my sd card for my applications to be installed on. i looked everywhere to try and get this working, but everywhere i go i run into dead ends, and unanswered questions.

i tried clockwork recovery, and couldnt find it there. i used rom manager to try and partition a 512mb spot and a 32mb swap. downloaded quick system info application, and im getting the "information unavailable". so apparently the partition isnt working. ive tried that 3 different times and none of them worked.

im pretty sure the ROM im using is ap2sd compatable or w/e. but heres what i have

    Droid 1 phone,
    2G SD card,
    android version 2.3.4
    Liquid Gingerbread v2.3 ROM

all im wanting to do is enable ap2sd and get a partitioned spot on my SD card so these problems will go away. its driving me nuts lol.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Scratch that guys, I figured it out. Reinstalling apps now.

Rom manager did indeed work. I had to install a new app for the ap2sd memory to go down and show up on quick system info application.
