Help With Flashing Image Thru Terminal Emulation

    Alright maybe you guys can help me cause I'm totally stumped now. I use my Droid 1 to Jailbreak my PS3. and for some reason I lost access to to Recovery mode. So I decided to put my phone back to stock and rooted again. (now on a stock FRG22D Rooted)

    So I'm at the part where I need to flash the image file to enable the PSFMod recovery mode. So I go into Terminal Emulation on my phone and do the usual

    su
    flash_image recovery /sdcard/psfSM-sholes-0.3.3.img
    flash_image: not found

    this is where I am stumped I know I have the image file on the root of SD Card not in any folders. So what is preventing the phone not finding the image file

    check the spelling and format of the name, Linux is case sensitive.

    flash_image: not found


    i am having the same problem with trying to flash cwm3

    i tried renaming the file to a.img (still cant find it)

    ls /sdcard -l

    it shows the file right there WTF

    help would be great thanks

    ok i think i solved it...i think

    the rom you and I are using do not have "flash_image" command
    credit goes to xda
    they have a method to add the command

    hope it works for you
