Help! slowwwwwwwww Droid

I've been experiencing a lot of problems using my contacts list, and my text messaging. Both screens will freeze or can get stuck for five to ten seconds while scrolling. Sometimes when I'm just at the home screen the damn thing won't even respond either. Does anybody have any suggestions for this?? The text messaging and contact lists have been the biggest problems.

Do you restart the phone on a regular basis, sometimes once a day or every couple of days keeps those glitches from happening.

Welcome to the Droid Forums.

First if you are using any task killers or antivirus, remove them.

if that doesn't help you will need to do a factory data reset. Go to your privacy settings to do this.

You will lose your data and unpaid apps. But it should clear everything up.

If that doesn't work you'll have to go back to Verizon and get a replacement.
