Easiest way is by using Z4Root. You can find it online for free....just Google Z4Root APK. It will most likely be downloaded as a txt file but just rename it to an apk and you should be good.

If you need help I would be glad to assist. Just let me know.

Download them on your phone and then if you have an app like files pre installed you can navigate to it and install it. If not go to the market and download easy apps installer and install the two apps, run Z4ROOT first, then bootstrapper.

Downloaded bootstrap on my phone but can't seem to open it. I see it in my files but can't find it with AppInstaller. Help?

huh? You download bootstrap from the Market and it's in your app drawer.

I just opened z4 and am wondering the same, temp or perm root. I'm assuming perm, but want to make sure just in case?

so, I opened up z4 and clicked Perm then it started and did nothing, so I plugged my phone into the PC so it could charge a little and my phone froze, so I freaked out thinking I "bricked" it and yanked the battery out, I got scared so I'm not attempting that again until I get get someone to tell me what I'm doing and if I'm doing it right for my model phone
