    Hello,
I'm unsure if this is the right forum to ask for help but I have a problem that's related to Droid hacking and more specifically rooting. I had the 2.1 firmware and I mistakenly used the update.zip to root a 2.01 Droid. This has given me an annoying "Superuser Permissions" app. Is there anyway I can restore to stock firmware?

    1. Why would you want to unroot? It gives you nothing but benefits.

    2. If you want to remove the app, just connect the phone, reboot into recovery mode by typing adb reboot recovery or rebooting while holding X on the physical keyboard, and using adb shell to rename Superuser.apk to Superuser.bak

    The command sequence is:
    Code:
    # mount system
    # mv /system/app/Superuser.apk /system/app/Superuser.bak
