    :motdroidhoriz: OK so I have my motorola Droid and I was wondering if i can set a different notification tone for my contacts when they text me??? Please help! It's just weird if I have only one txt ringtone for all txt msgs. dancedroid

    I don't have the stock mms apk so I wouldn't know if you can do it on there.. but handcent allows you to do this..

    Go to the contact you want to change
    On the screen you select either to dial or message press the menu softkey
    Select options
    Select ringtone you want for that contact

    You can. Just go to the Messaging app, then go down to "notification settings". I would recommend downloading Handcent SMS...it's a much better, fully featured messaging app available in the market.
