Trying to unroot my D1 I have stock recovery. I dl'd and renamed the file updated.zip but keeps giving me "signature verification failed" message and aborts the installation. Do not know what to do now please help.
Thanks

More details please. Which file did you d/l and rename? Or you can use the "Unroot without RSD Lite" guide at my site linked below.

Signature failed means that update.zip is not a signed Verizon update. You need a signed fullfile to do that.

You can find the full signed file in my 'files' link below. Look for the .zip file that starts with MasterFRG22D. And again, if you go to my guides link, I have the full guide including the file to unroot without using RSD Lite.

good luck

RSDLite?

Kinda, but you have to be running a VM or something of that nature to get it to work. Even then, its trying. If you have an old box with WinXP loaded, that works best.
