help please!!!

we tried flashing a rom to my cousins milestone and now its stuck in a bootloop :/ any help?

yeah we did it through rom manager we flashed a recovery like five time just to make sure and then clicked install and wipe cache and data..what if i wipe it from the recovery menu? i can get into custom recovery but i dont wanna screw up worse

if the rom is the issue then it may very well...

did the rom have a custom kernel? is it specific for the milestone?

Are you using clockworkmod or sp? How much experience do you have with flashing ROMs and the like?

it was metiCkMod-FRG83Dv0.2.zip it didnt say anything about the kernels or anything he just wanted his phone to look different and stuff but im never been able to flash a rom succesfully so this is the last time i try it but now he just wants his phone back to normal it wouldnt install on clockwork it said it couldnt be found so we tried the recovery and installed it that way now its stuck in a bootloop

not much experience and i was using clockwork but in clockwork it said file couldnt be found so i installed it through custom recovery and it rebooted then got stuck

a factory reset should reset the device back to out of the box condition.

however, all settings on the device and apps installed will be reset as well. (paid apps will show in market as they are linked to your g-mail account)

its at the boot animation itll go to the android logo and then freeze then start again

Ok. That means that its not a kernel issue. If you power it up while holding x, does it go into recovery?
