Help! Phone tries to turn on, but won't

My phone is unrooted, and it restarted and just cycles from black screen to the white screen with the HTC logo. I've tried going into the bootloader screen and doing a factory reset, pulling the battery, pulling the SIM....and nothing.

I would like to just try to root the damn thing if I can ever get it on now...

Reboots have gotten more and more frequent since the recent firmware update from VZW

If its just cycling like that, sounds like a trip to the Verizon store for you my friend. They should replace it for ya.
Download all the needed stuff to root so when you get the replacement home you're ready

Yeah, sounds like your bolt is borked up. Go to VZW & they'll almost certainly swap it out for you.

Oh, they wouldn't swap it out because they don't have any "warranty replacement phones". I did, however, ***** enough to get it overnighted

My signal seems to be better on my replacement too
