Hey guys. I've had this problem off and on since I've had my Droid (got it in Novemberish). Here are some pictures of the strange effect:

Just a white wall:

Cat:

Floor/foot:

Taken with the default camera app. It does the same thing with video. It seems to form those colored rings around the lighter portion of the photo. The horizontal bars are something new. It had only happen 2 or 3 times before and it went away randomly within 5 minutes, but now it's back and worse than ever, still not going away after a week. I've turned it off and on, pulled the battery, deleted fxCamera in case that was interfering... nothing.

Anyone else have this problem?

My Droid does a similar thing but in yellow. I've tried cleaning lens and it doesn't do any good. My problem only occurs in bright lighting. Does this happen to you in all lighting conditions?

No color effects on. It is worse in the light, but still visible in darker pictures.

Hmm I don't have insurance on it. Can I still swap it out?

You have a one year warrantee on manufacturing defects. They should replace it no questions asked.
