You have a Droid 2, so you need a Droid 2 ROM. What version of Blur is on your phone?

Forgive my ignorance but I didn't see a system version. Am I looking for the kernal number, ask, or what?

That's recovery. That's not the bootloader. Do you know how to get into the bootloader? You press the up arrow and hold it, not X -- otherwise it's the same procedure as to get into recovery. :)

No, I didnt know that. Does my battery need to be at a certain level before I try that?

Bootloader Droid2

My Droid is stuck in bootloader mode. it says battery OK OK to program transfer mode USB. this happened after dropping in water 4 days ago. how can I fix this?

Dropped in Water

I have heard of people opening their phones and drying them out with a hair dryer. Don't know if it will work but it's worth a try.
