My phone has been off the charger for almost 10 hours now, and it's still showing 90%! This is impossible!!

    First Reboot your device.

Also could you post a screen shot of the battery stats...?

I was actually being facetious. I just bought the Maxx last Wednesday. Before, I was using an HTC Thunderbolt that I'd had since May of 2011. So needless to say, I'm not used to a battery gauge that drains so slowly ;-)

Well it seems to me your not exploring your new toy quite enough. You should at least be 85%.

Could be you're right. But I've been off charge for 27 hours now, and I'm still at 50%. Not too shabby. Remember, I came to this thing from an HTC Thunderbolt, so I'm still in awe of not having to plan my day around keeping my phone charged. :)
