I just rooted my phone with no complaints and it was pretty straight forward. I followed along on a youtube video, but after rooting, there was no nandroid folder on my sd card. The video said this folder would come up automatically but for some reason, there is no trace of this folder at all. Can anyone help me??

This folder has nothing to do with root. This is the SPRecovery folder. Just make it if you don't see it

If the video mentioned it you should have installed it. Did you download anything called recovery_image.0.99.3b?

    THIS

I'd say about 80% of the questions I've seen her over the last few days have been very simple questions that are caused by people not searching for a solution. There is a forum for this stuff too, don't know why it's in the hacks and development section....

no, the video never said to download anything after being rooted. It said that the nandroid folder would automatically be put on my SD card with my custom ROM image on it as a back up...he then said to rename it so it would be easier to identify...

Rename the nandroid folder? That would be great if you wanted SPRecovery to not recognize it....

Where did you get this tutorial? Doesn't seem he knows much what he's talking about, or it's for another phone.

not renaming the folder, the custom image file name...and for the record, I apologize for not putting this in the right section, I'm simply trying to get some help. If it really bothers you that much, then don't bother opening the thread. Thanks.
