Help...I cant get my droid hooked up top laptop.

Sorry...im sorta of in a hurry. SO if someone could help that would be great. I am hooking it up with the usb...and all i get is it has no driver and cant be located!!! maybe im rushing through it and not seeing something but i am in a hurry!!!

go to your device manager and try updating the drivers from there.

what OS are you using?

I did that and it searches and says mp drivers found. Im using windows 7

did u install the moto drivers, i remember i had to do something like that in 2009 when i got my og droid.

Yes get the moto drivers installed and that should help. But i'm not sure cause I'm tethered as we speak with no moto drivers. A paradox.....

Does your laptop have wireless? If so just go with out a usb its always easier for me.

How do i hook up the drivers??? I have tried everything....blue tooth, wifi, usb. i cant get it hooked up to laptop!!

You need to download the Motorola USB drivers.

Sounds to me like you need a tethering app. I have used pdanet which is free...but after the trial period you can't go to any secure sites. Which means no facebook, online banking or anything like that. Usbtether is an option as I recall. What phone do you have?

I have found that it has been a much more enjoyable experience using barnacle or wifi tether after I rooted my phone. But that's not for everyone.
