    Hi,

I NEED HELP!!! Has accidentally deleted my camera folder from the gallery. And now, I NEED them back. As I've read, there are ways on how to retrieve these files, it would be easy when it's saved in an SD card. But mine were saved in the internal memory. We have tried plugging it in the pc but the pc won't recognize the phone. I read ticking and unticking debugging USB or setting it as USB mass storage.. sth like that but hasn't tried it yet. Would this work? The phone's not rooted, and I don't want to, cos it will lose the warranty.

Would anyone please tell me it can still be revived? ://

Learned my lesson and will automatically save it to dropbox, I know. But please, help me in retrieving the lost photos :((

I know about one utility i.e. Remo Android Recovery. This software can help you to get back your photos because it has the feature to retrieve deleted photos from internal memory. So in my opinion it will be best solution for you. Go for it.

Also, the new VZCloud app is a new offering from Verizon that replaces their Backup Assistant. It backups EVERYTHING, texts, contacts, documents, pictures, video, call logs, music. It gives 5 GB for free, $2.99 per month for 25 GB. Not bad for protecting your data all the time.

As I understand it, your phone's memory works the same way computer memory does - "deleting" a file just tells the file system not to acknowledge the file any more, but it IS still there until overwritten with new data. So it probably is possible, with the proper knowledge and software. I see some people have already recommend some software to try.

A good way is to use android photo recovery software, see this solution: recover photos from android phones

Take note that you should stop using the phone to avoid new files to be written to phone which may overwrite the deleted photos and make them unrecoverable.

Actually, when the PHOTO is deleted, it doesn't go to the trash or the recycle bin, because there isn't a trash or a recycle bin on your Samsung as on the computer. And it's only marked as useless information and can be overwritten by new data. Therefore, the deleted message only turns to be invisible, and disappear until being overwritten.
