    What exactly is the .apk?

I have a 2.3.1 Gingerbread Rooted OGDroid from verizon, and i have downloaded the most current version that you have posted, but when i goto install it through clockworks mod, it does nothing, and all Astro does is expand the file. Do i need to compile everything into a .apk file? what would i use to do that? or do i need to change the file type from .zip to .apk? please help:icon_eek:

its already an apk, just use a file manager to install it, no clockwork or anything needed. Click and and press the app manager option.

If you downloaded it from the app it's in the app's folder. If it's from a web browser on your Droid it's in the download folder -- not the downloads folder.

ahah! i figured it out, All you had to do was rename the .zip file to a .apk file... :icon_ banana: Just as suspected.

So does this hack really allow Verizon phones to use Sprint TV for free? Do you get the premium channels? Does it work over 3G/4G and WiFi? Is the quality good?

tried this version on my wifi asus tablet, but it didnt work. no luck on OG droid either. does ths require use of a cellphone provider to begin with in the build.prop or does your mod bypass the network provider check altogether? i'd like to be able to use it on my tablet, pm me if theres anything i could do to help make it happen, or tell me the steps and ill attempt to mod it.
