I tried out the Steel droid 5.5 for a while but it started getting a little buggy, force closing and such. for the record, it was doing that on my last cyanogen mod before that. but i've been trying to flash a different mod with rom manager and it keeps rebooting back to steel droid. it doesn't matter if i install from the sd card or restore a previous mod, nothing works. i even tried a factory reset, but it always goes back to steel droid 5.5

I used the alternate recovery, the clockwork recovery and even cleared the download cache. tryied the factory reset again but still reboots back to steel droid. tried bugless beast from ROM manager and got a download error. tried the newest couple of cyanogen mods and rebooted to steel.?.?.?

Glad you got one. In case you haven't read on the forum yet, with clockwork recovery, you have to flash clockwork recovery THEN, flash the alternate recovery at bottom of the menu, THEN, flash back to Clockwork recovery. Give it a try if you haven't already. I once had the same problem....that fixed it.:) CHeers!

Heh you got phone herpes. No matter what you do. It doesn't go away. I had that problem with gummy jar on a friends d2. Just wouldn't go away.

Sent from a Droid that has been flashed more times then a bead vendor at Mardi Gras.
