OK - I flashed over to a different ROM and after a little while it froze up on me and I had to do a battery pull. So, I booted into recovery and restored a previous ROM i was using. After the restore I had some apps missing (setCPU, flash, shapewriter, OS monitor and shootme), I figured no big deal, just use my Titanium Backup. I did restore missing apps and data - it completes it but none of the apps are there. Then I do each app individually - still nothing. Try to restore the via my astro backup - I get a message that says something like I need to free up space? Reboot into recovery and wipe several times and try to restore - samething!! Try going into the market and look under my downloads and it shows SetCPU as purchased but when I try to download it says download unsuccessful! I don't care about the other apps but SetCPU is a paid app - the other I can just download again

Any advice on this situation?? PLEASE?

Not sure this will resolve but worth a try.

Open the market app, tap menu, tap downloads. This will display all of the apps you have installed. You should be able to restore/reinstall from there.

Let us know if this helps.

Thanks for the tip. I tried that with SetCPU - it will download but at the end it says "Download unsuccessful". I keep trying and that's all it'll do :(

What rom did you try to install? The Sapphire wiki has a market hack not sure if it would rectify your issue but it is the only other suggestion I can offer.

is it set to save to SD card?? you might have used all your space on the phone and if its trying to save to the phone it wont be able to. Most backups that I have on my rooted droid BB 0.4 are about 200mb but they should be saving to your SD card.

Titanium you mean? Yes, it is set to save to SD card. I look in the folder and I see all my apps. This is VERY strange.

I am flashing back to a Simply Stunning ROM and hopefully Chevy's rstapps will save my a$$!

After I am done flashing everything appears to be normal. But where I had SetCPU on my home screen there is that default droid thingy. Everything else works OK. It's just that I can't get SetCPU or shapewriter back for some reason.
Currently I have 44% free space on the phone and 81% free on the SD card.

Not sure why it is doing this... If it was installed when you did a backup and then you restore to that back up it should be there. You might want to try to uninstall and then install it again but not sure if this will charge you again.

At Mike, What do you think about it?

Yeah, I don't get it either? The real weird is I've flashed to these restored ROMS before with no issues.

Yes, very strange! When I flashed back to SS it wasn't there, but after running the script to restore apps everything is back!
