    thanks

Thanks for the welcome. Tallica, I see that you have knowledge concerning rooting. I would like to be able to use my DX for it's hotspot capabilities but my older computer "up north" doesn't have wifi capability. Can I use the hotspot via the usb cable to connect or do I have to add wifi to the older Dell? Thanks.

Hotspots refer to wireless only. But you can tether with USB. Its just not called "hotspot". :)
