Hey there, I am picking up a used Moto Droid today to hold me over until the Droid Pro releases this Fall. In just a few hours I will be activating my Droid and scrapping my Omnia - cannot wait.

Wouldn't you know, the seller still has the phone listed as active on his account even though he switched to AT&T! In a holding pattern while we try to get it activated on my account. 'Doh!

So even though the guy closed his Verizon account, they said it still won't deactivate from his account until his billing cycle is over, which luckily is this Thursday night. Since I can't get past the activation screen I guess I will just be staring at a charged up but non-functional phone for a couple days. :frown:

So I tried on a whim to activate again this morning, and it worked! Just finished installing Froyo and now I'm on to transferring contacts and downloading apps.
