I have a Droid Raza just upgraded to ICS. I just joined this site in hopes of finding a cure to a problem thats happening after the update.
I receive a message "Unfortunately, Homescreen has stopped working" It occurs randomly, but almost always when I insert the phone into my car dock

    any help is truly appreciated

    Hello and welcome Tom...

You can try to clear cache on the home screen app thru the phone settings - manage apps.

Hello and welcome to the droid forums..

Home screen has stopped unexpectedly.. and your device is slow, laggs periodically, feels unstable??

You'll need to setup your home screen again after this, but all of your apps and data will still be on your device.

Go into manage apps, all, home screen, clear data and force stop, home screen vzw config, force stop it too.

Now reboot the device. Setup your home screen again and you're good to go..

    Hope this helps :)

Tap on the options button, bottom left hand corner capacitive button, select manage apps, the apps are in alphabetical order, scroll down to home screen, tap on it. That's where you'll find clear data and force close.

I tried to clear my cache but it is greyed out and will not allow me to click on it cause it says there's nothing there, yet this homescreen problem continues to happen. Any other suggestions? It happens like 10 times a day at least.
