I have had my Droid (orig) for almost two years. I can upgrade in August and want to see what my options for a new Droid are. I have been considering an Iphone but think I want to stay with a Droid. So I want to see what the benefits are to rooting my Droid. Have been having issues with alot of force closes and thought I might just go ahead and root it and see if any of that changes.

welcome to the forum. many pros than cons when it comes to rooting. but the only way to know is to read up on it and try it out. the community is here to assist u
