Hey guys! i found this forum when i was searching to learn more about Andriod phones and such.. I will make programs for Andriod with App inventor and on this page i found out its much about those phones so i think i will be seen around here.

Just one question i am kinda new to theese things with phons and such..

What is ''Driod'' phones is it same as Andriod or what?

To clear this up a Droid and an Android powered device are two different things, there are currently 4 Droids (5 if you count the HTC Incredible) most will agree if it was not made by Motorola it is not a Droid although the HTC Dinc clearly says DROID on the box the other 4 devices are The Original Droid, Droid 2, Droid X, and the upcoming Droid Pro all made by Motorola

Everything else is just powered by the Android O/S and not a DROID

The name of the Forum is a give away. The Droid OS is Android and we try to extent support to all areas. Do you need something specific?
