Hell, My name is Chris. I am new to the Droid as I just got it Saturday. So far this is the nicest phone I have ever had. I am comming from a BB Storm that was the biggest POS that I have ever had.. so that out of the way. Is there a way to NOT have to press the unlock button and just be able to slide your finger across the screen to unlock the phone? thanks in advance.

Welcome! Glad you are enjoying your Droid. I do not press the unlock button on my Droid. I simply slide my finger and the lock icon moves to the left and unlocks my phone

Thanks, But after leaving the phone idle, I always have to press the unlock button at the top of the phone... do I have something turned on that i should not?
