We've been using an inexpensive HDMI cable to connect my Note 2 to our TV ($16, Skiva from Amazon). Only one of five has worked, and it has quit working. We're willing to spend more money for a system that will actually work. Any recommendations?

Thanks so much.

If you are looking for an HDMI cable on Amazon, here are the two brands I would get:

Media bridge

nice cables, thin flexible ones and fatter tougher ones.
I have one of their micro HDMI and it works great, also one of their 3.5mm audio cables.

Blue rigger

Also nice cables, I have a 35ft one of theirs, also works great and feels good quality.

Both are inexpensive cables, but not $2 cheap things.

It's not just the HDMI cable I need. I also need a mini-USB adapter, to connect to the HDMI.

Thank you.

No but movies and games expand to full screen bepending on how thick the case is you shouldn't have to remove it. It might be possible to turn it on its side while plugged in I never tried it.

Also, I had heard that you can't receive texts or calls while you're in the dock. Thankfully, neither of those are true!
