Hdmi connection problem razr

I have a droid razr and when I connect my phone to my tv through hdmi cable, the razr no longer responds. Random buttons are "pushed" and apps open and close randomly. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

Possibly try another cable. This is the first I have heard of HDMI causing this error ..

Similar to using an under rated charger causing same issues...

razr hdmi problem

I have a Droid razor. I am now having this problem. This problem appear to be a loose connection with the HDMI and charging port. When I do get the HDMI message, I just put the charging cable in the phone and shake it around and it goes away. Sometimes for one day and sometimes for a week. If you put a HDMI cable in and pull it out it will go away for a little while. If your phone is under warranty,( unlike my phone ) you need to take it back for replacement.
