Lack of Android software support, visualized | Geek.com

An interesting article my friend sent me that I don't believe has been posted yet. Certainly something that it will take Google putting their foot down to correct. I love what I've seen with some of the roms put out, but it would be nice if those who don't tinker like a lot of us do weren't left in the dust. With the exception of entry-level phones that simply don't have the capacity to handle ports of the latest OS, it seems like there could certainly be a better effort to keep the majority of devices up-to-date the way Apple does, no? Thoughts and opinions welcome, let's have at it.

Soo ... in conclusion , if I want a phone that has full support and gets the latest updates I should buy a Nexus phone . Noted .

    I never knew....I feel so....forgotten lol.

Google should definitely put a harder foot down, partly because I always use all their apps (rooted or not) and also so these deadbeat manufacturers can keep showing their older model phones love!

    Good article

    Hmmm....

If 67% ran a current version at some point, that means at most 33% haven't ever run a current version....
