1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

I want to root my phone (DX) but dont want to go to the effort of the factory reset, SBF, etc. Was wondering if anyone has found an app that will successfully root the phone. All the ones I have tried were unsuccessful, and from what I've been able to find in searches, the factory reset is the only option for the version of GB I am on. Has that changed?

    Thanks,

    -Chad

I notice in your post you ask if there is an app that can root it. To answer that question, no. To root it you need a PC.
