Has any app or ROM improved video recording??

With all the improved ROMs, modifications, and various apps, has anyone gotten the video recording ability of the Droid to near HD quality?

I know they launched the Motoroi (Sholes) in Korea, with HD recording ability. I'm wondering if the new Sholes app in the marketplace ads actually upgrades the Droid's cam to HD, or if it at least improves it.

Someone posted a while back that this was possible, but after searching for the past 35 minutes, I thought I'd just breakdown and ask...

Yes BB does this and I believe sholes does it too

Any ROM that is giving better quality is just using this fix. As such you can do it on ANY ROM (including stock) as long as your rooted.

To the poster above, BB has 'improved' quality but it's still not as good as this fix will provide. All Pete did was take the file size up slightly but no, IMHO enough. He also didn't change the encoding codex which is what makes a big difference (the phone struggles to much with the h264 codex).
