In the sound and display settings, I have the haptic feedback button "UN"checked yet when I press the softkeys while using the phone dial paid they buttons vibrate. Is there something else I need to do to get the phone dial pad not to vibrate while pressing the numbers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I want the heptic feedback and I thought it was lost with 2.2. I didn't noticed the setting in Settings>Language and Keyboard>Android Keyboard>Vibrate on keypress. Thank you for pointing this out

Out-of-the-box my Charge provided haptic feedback on certain UI interactions (specifically when typing on the keyboard). I turned off the haptic feedback response initially but now I'd like to turn it back on when using the keypad..... yet for some reason I can not find the setting ANYWHERE.

Have I lost my mind? Was it never there? Is it there and I'm just a space shot?

I can't even find the setting to toggle the haptic feedback on the dialer.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Dude!

Anyone else ever have one of those moments where you'll spend 10 minutes scouring every setting on your device looking for something you KNOW is there and get so frustrated that you can't find it?.... only to have it pointed out to you in the a place you looked a dozen times but somehow didn't notice? lol

    I'm a spaceshot :icon_ poke:

    Thanks!

Lol! How are you liking the Charge? Any performance/lag issues or is it basically smooth?

It's smooth. the TouchWiz UI ran great for me but I installed LauncherProPlus as I've gotten accustomed to it and that runs great as well. I haven't noticed lag anywhere.... I mean it's slows a LIL when I've got a bunch of things going but overall it's much faster than my D1 was.

Only slight lag I see is with the "NOLED" app and waking the screen sometimes... but it's minimal and generally works flawlessly.

I can't get over the screen on this thing though... samsung's screens are ridiculously vibrant.

I mean the S2 is what I really have/had my heart set on but my D1 suffered some major damage this weekend and it was a toss up over spending $100 for a replacement or just buying a new phone (I was due for an upgrade anyway)

The Charge seems like a phone I would like. Its on my list. I have a fascinate though and it is pretty similiar, so idk. I hope the SGS2 has 4g or I will not even consider it.

Yea the 4G of the Charge was a deciding factor. 4G isn't in my immediate area just yet but it's supposed to be by Summer's end. It's in Boston already (an hour east of me) and down into CT (30 mins South of me) in the New Haven area, which conveniently is where I have been working lately. :) I'll get to test out the 4G finally tomorrow on my ride to work!

4g is pretty sweet. I initially didnt care about it, but when we got it in my area and I tried it out, I was hooked!
