Handcent?

I recently downloaded the app Handcent SMS and I would like to change the maximum limit of messages I get to be 200. Also I do not know how to disable the primary text messenger that came with the phone. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

You don't. Go into the stock Messaging app and disable its notifications.

had the same problem in handcent, retarded, have no idea why there isn't a setting in it to cap convos at 200 or 100 or whatever you want. i did it in the stock messaging app, but it doesn't reflect in handcent. i seriously don't know why this isn't the first setting in HC.

i think you can change it under the original messages app and it'll transfer over. not totally sure though
