handcent texting issue

I just starting using handcent but for some reason it will not find all my contacts. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong please help it found a few contacts but not all. I created an account but that did nothing as well. Thanks for any replies.

Have you rebooted the phone since you installed Handcent? I had that happen on my old Droid 2 but on a reboot it would fully populate the list

Are the contacts that it's not finding email address contacts? I know that was one of the problems I had with it when I first started using it. It would only find contacts with phone numbers ...

No i know that my sons number is on there and my sister. I went with go SMS and I'm also using go launcher xe it seems to be pretty good thanks mattyp.
