Hi hi, new here to the forums, but I figured this community the best to help me.

I have a Droid A855 running 2.2, and for a few days, maybe weeks, Handcent has shown up in my updates as 'Installing.' The app worked fine, but it sat at the top of the downloads section of the Market looking like it was working and never doing anything.

Since I noticed this issue, I have rooted my phone. I'm new to that to, so I haven't downloaded or done anything too crazy (busybox, rom manager, superuser, drocap2, and setCPU).

I attempted to remove Handcent- success! But when I go back in to the Market, it still says Installing, so I cannot redownload it.

Any ideas besides a full wipe?

Have you tried clearing data/cache for the marketplace?

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that. Unfortunately clearing the Market Cache did not help.

If it matters, other apps download AND update correctly.
