Handcent ? MMS Short video instead of pic.

This is odd, when I get a mms from one of my buddies the pic comes over as a 12 second video instead of the pic. This is not only attributed to Handcent only cause it happens in the regular application as well.

I get the pic but I can only see it for a second and then its goes back to the text.

I have tested this with my other friends and mms works fine. Is it something in the settings or the way he is sending the texts? He explains he is just sending regular pic's.

Anyone else have this issue?

Mine does the same thing with stock SMS app. Only when my buddy from Tmobile sends me a pix message.

Happens to me too. My friend has an AT&T iPhone when he sends me a pic, it's comes onto my Droid as a video.

Yeah its odd. This is what is really weird. Out of the two friends that send mms they both have the 3gs att. One of them sends the pic the right way but the other comes over as a vid.

Im confused
