i have just pluged in my 2 droids they were lit for a while now no light no nothing it says to charge them for 24 hours is that normal

Did you push the "power button" on the top? That turns the screen on...they DO say you should charge them for 24 hours.

i could have on the one but not on the other there are both doing the same thing

Once the battery is charged that light you saw will go out. Even though it says charge 24 hours its not necessary. Go ahead and fire those puppies up.
