So, I have my Droid rooted and ROM'd but I need to make some changes and it seems that I do not know how to use ADB for with Ubuntu. I just switched to it so if anyone can lend a hand, it would be greatly appreciated!

I'm very new to Ubuntu myself, recently installed it to a partition. But there are a few steps.
    Download the sdk for linux
    Unpack the sdk
Edit your path as neccessary (to point to your new tools folder)
    Create a "permissions" file:

And hopefully you should be good to go. This is a VERY rough outline, and probably missing something important. As I said I'm new to it myself.

Well, the filesystem is a little different over in Ubuntu. Do I just create a folder the way I did in Windows and link to that through the Terminal? Is the terminal what I use in lieu of the Run command?

Good luck! I have adb running on ubuntu, but I'm not at the point where I could easily explain how...yet. Maybe somebody will come a long that can link a guide...
