I have a Droid X. I use my Google Voice number as my main number. If I put my phone down for a few hours, lets say 3pm - 7pm. And someone sends me a text to my google voice number, the phone does not recognize it until I unlock the phone. When I unlock it, it tells me that I have e-mail and a text message from 5pm. Thats 2 hours that I missed. Any suggestions on what I can do to make sure that I receive these messages when they come in even if my phone has been idle?

Try getting rid of Advance Task Killer. Maybe that will help. You don't need it anyway.

I'm not running 2.2 yet. Should I uninstall the ATK or just stop using it all the time (Also should i be using Lookout)
