GSM on Liberty d2g

i havent found anything on this yet so, is there a way to get gsm on liberty 1.5? i havent found any settings for gsm while on liberty which i just installed 10 minutes ago. just wondering because im planning a trip to japan next summer (i know thats a long ways from now lol) but want to keep my sexy liberty themes. thanks.

Dial *#*#4636#*#* and then click phone information then go down to Set preferred network type and choose GSM/CDMA auto or GSM only.

Yeah I actually found an option in the liberty settings while having trouble turning the cdma radio to connect verizon. Thanks though!
