Anyone having a problem with the navigation portion of the gps? Normally I'll have to wait a few to find my location. But even after its found my navigation constantly says "searching for GPS". I can get the directions list through google maps, but really miss the navigation. Is this a known problem and/or is there a fix for this? Other wise, like everyone has been saying: BEST ROM OUT THERE. Tia.

Nope sorry-I was using it pretty heavily over the last few days on the road. Quick satellite acquisition and worked through the whole trip.

Wish I had a fix for you.

I was having a problem with Google maps just closing on me. I would try to type an address in to search, and the maps app would just go away. No force close, no freeze. I would open maps again and it would be back the way it was before I tried to search for an address.

    I un/re-installed maps...works fine now. Maybe that'll help?

i've had the best luck with slayher and p3's kernels. just remember the stock is a LV 1.1Ghz kernel.

    P3Droid Kernels

Index of /slayher/kernels - stick with the 1.6 kernels.

in the sticky for 4.2 release someone posted a new raidzero 1100 kernel thats smooth....start at the last page and work backward .
I used the sapphire kernel and had gps issues , so thats why I suggest a kernel change.
